Hello world, First I'd like to say I am not a AI nor a DB specialist, just an ol' user seeking the ultimate tool. I am looking for a graphical OODB that would allow me to represent through flowchart like graphs, information processing and communication in a corporation. Context representation features needed are: - nested type objects - typed directional links between objects - object and link associated text for comments Graph display features needed are: - automatic graph production - selectable object "center viewpoint of graph" - view zooming - independant nested object zooming - independant link type display selection - at least a dozen of object symbols and a dozen of link symbols The closest product I saw to the kind of graphic result I'd like is MacFlow or MacFlowchart. The problem with that product is that you have to draw the graphs yourself because it doesn't include any OODB-like system. So when you have to update a context, it becomes a real pain in the mouse hand. If you've came by any kind of software which provides part or all of these functions, academic, commercial, prototype, and whatever the kind of equipment needed, please let me know about it.
