My Ph D thesis is about evaluating expert systems in a socio-technical context. What I require is a critique of the list of dimensions that I have posited to be important determinants of quality from fellow researchers in the area. Contributions from sources with experience in knowledge engineering and who possess inter-disciplinary backgrounds are particularly welcome. The committment is not expected to take more than a half hour and the experiment should be over within a week. As much as I would like to hand out $100 bills (Canadian of course!), NSERC and my supervisor would never let me get away with it. So I'm afraid reward for your participation is essentially the satisfaction of having contributed to the advancement of the art and science of knowledge engineering. In any case, I would be pleased to share the results of my research. Thanks in anticipation.
