Anyone have any practical experience with a Big Throat throttle body installed on a Rabbit or Scirocco?

The Big Throat throttle plate will make your car go faster (as in better acceleration). The only drawback is that the motor tends to be less controllable from a stop light. You will find that your motor has two speeds, idle and floored. However, if you modify the throttle linkage, you will have a very enjoyable accessory. Questions? A month or two back someone was asking about the merits of the "Big Throat", an after market gizzy that lets Rabbits, Scirrocos, etc. breathe a little better. I never saw any responses to the articles. I have just ordered a GTI and was wondering if this little gadget is worth it. Any info will be greatly appre- ciated.
