I am looking for information on a rule based system called MRS. Does anyone, - know where this system or documentation regarding it, - know of an FTP site where it can be obtained from if it is in the PD, or - know the virtues/faults of this system. Thanks for any information supplied.

It's a product of Stanford's Heuristic Programming Project. When I
was using it back in 1984, the right person to contact was Milt Grinberg
(grinberg@sumex.stanford.edu), but things may have changed.
