I have a job to predict the state of various flavors of expert systems in the year 2000. These include expert systems for maintenance and for decision support as well as expert systems for adaptive user interfaces. I would welcome suggestions as to where to start my search. I believe that past is indeed prologue and, therefore, descriptions of the previous growth of coverage and speed of expert systems would be very useful. I am looking for references on graphical representations in kb's. Does anyone know of any? I am not coming up with much in eric, dissertaions abstracts, applied sciences, psych lit. Graphical representations had many but combine it with kb's and you get zilch. Is anyone supplying their kb's with graphical represenations to illsutrate their knowledge? linc james
