I've applied all 4 patches to the distribution and re-tarred/sharred it, so that new retrievals don't require patching. Internet FTP: - --------- To retrieve the distribution, ftp to ATHENA-DIST.MIT.EDU (18.71.0.38), login as anonymous (password whatever you like, usually your username@host), then cd to pub/kerberos. Retrieve README.ftp, it has directions on how to get to the rest of the software. Distribution is split compressed tar files (xxx.Z.aa, xxx.Z.ab, ...). UUCP/other mail retrieval: - ----------------------- Send mail to 'archive-server@athena-dist.mit.edu' with a subject of 'index krb-doc krb-code' to retrieve an index of the pieces (both documentation and code). To retrieve actual code, send a message with a subject 'send krb-code xxxx' (for file xxxx in the krb-code directory). Send a message 'help' for detailed help from the server. NOTE: Export of this software from the United States of America is assumed to require a specific license from the United States Government. It is the responsibility of any person or organization contemplating export to obtain such a license before exporting. Due to a packaging error (I forgot to put in the old Makefiles, most of which aren't used but some are...), I have re-packaged the new distribution. If you retrieved it, please re-retrieve it. Sorry for any problems. Note that the shar kit is now 34 pieces rather than 32. John Kohl <jtkohl@ATHENA.MIT.EDU> or <jtkohl@Kolvir.Brookline.MA.US> Digital Equipment Corporation/Project Athena
