Hello, I don't know if this is the correct address for Kerberos problems. If not, I'd appreciate it if someone would steer me in the right direction. I've build and installed Kerberos, and everything looked fine. The problems happen when I try to create and use the database. The admin programs don't think I'm using the correct master password. Here's the transcript of my problem: snow# kdb_init Realm name [default TIS.COM ]: You will be prompted for the database Master Password. It is important that you NOT FORGET this password. Enter Kerberos master key: Verifying, please re-enter Enter Kerberos master key: snow# kstash Enter Kerberos master key: Verifying, please re-enter Enter Kerberos master key: Current Kerberos master key version is 0. verify_master_key: Invalid master key, does not match database. I've tried this several times, deleting the databases and using different password. To avoid typing mistakes, I've even tried a 1-character password. They all come up with the same error. Is this familiar to anyone? Any help is appreciated. Jeff
