[comp.protocols.kerberos] Question about ksu and root instance tickets

haynes@UCSCC.UCSC.EDU (99700000) (06/08/90)

The ksu command reminds you to destroy the root instance ticket
before you exit the super user shell. I got to wondering if the
root instance ticket is ever used for anything once you get to
be super user - could the ksu command just destroy it automatically
when it is about to fork the root-owned shell?

Yes. All the time. Usually one will ksu and rlogin to some other host.
