I am running the kerberos package on a DEC VAXstation 3100 running Ultrix v3.1. The server seems to be running properly, and I even managed to get the sample application running on a remote client machine. However, I get the following error when I attempt to rlogin from the server machine to the remote machine: ucc001.ucop.edu: Connection refused rlogin: Kerberos rcmd failed: rcmd protocol failure trying noremail rlogin... I have modified the /etc/services and /etc/inetd.conf files on the server machine as directed (and restarted inetd).

[Please disregard previous note] I am running the kerberos package on a DEC VAXstation 3100 running Ultrix v3.1. I have also used ext_srvtab to create the srvtab file and sent it to the remote node as /etc/srvtab. My question is, are there other pieces that need to reside on the remote machine in order for kerberos rlogin to work? Do there need to be entries in the /etc/services or /etc/inetd.conf files on the remote machine?
