Being new to the net, I was wondering if a subgroup for BMW exists, and if not, if there was any interest in starting one. Rob Coben ABI/Lincroft (201)576-2711

I am always interested in hearing about BMW's, especially since mine is currently in the shop, running up a bill that will pass the national debt on Friday. I am not sure there is enough interest for a net.auto.bmw, but I will certainly subscribe if one is created. eric ...!seismo!umcp-cs!aplvax!eric

I would vote against a net.auto.bmw. Problems/comments regarding all makes are of interest, to me anyway. -Joe P.

Please don't create a BMW subgroup. I like to read about BMW's too,
and don't need to wade through another newsgroup to do so. And if
BMW owners are too inconvenienced by reading about the Colts, Rabbits,
GLC's, and other non-BMW's that some of us own, then perhaps they
should call their newsgroup net.snobs! :-)
Seriously, even though I can't afford a 320i or a Saab 900 Turbo, or
a Corvette, or a <insert any car costing over $200> right now, I
may want to buy one someday. So have pity on us keyboard racers!
