[net.auto] Headlights in the fog

chichak@auvax (08/25/83)

I must agree that in the fog one should use their low beams. BUT, when was the
last time that you saw a car that the person:
1) had all headlights operational
2) took the time (or $$$) to aim the headlights.

Driving at night in the fog w/ your park lights on (only) is pure insanity.
Driving at night w/ your park lights on (only) is stupid.
Driving at night w/ a headlight out? Re: previous article on head on accident
w/ car in the middle of the road w/ only one headlight. Let the widows decide.

Headlights are cheap, please look to see that you have all of yours working.
Your owners manual shows you how to replace them. If it does'nt "turn the
screws counter clock wise to remove".

Don't just drive from A to B. Take the time to go to C.
