I have a Toshiba 1200F laptop with a Toshiba P321SL printer. I've been using WORD 4.0 on it without any problems. Lately however, while printing a document the printer suddenly goes wacky and prints garbage. I haven't figured out how/why this happens nor how to get the printer back into "normal" mode again. I've checked the cables/connections and they are fine. After exiting Word, the printer still prints garbage (such as 'type autoexec.bat > lpt1' will print garbage). Sometimes rebooting the computer will reset everything back to normal and sometimes it doesn't. I ran diagnostics on both the computer and the printer and everything tests out ok. If the printer ever resumes normal printing, I can still print the same document w/o any problems. It seems to me that it happens randomly on random documents. Has anyone experienced something like this or offer any suggestions to getting the printer/computer back to normal once this happens? Thanks. Randy parlier@jpl-devvax.jpl.nasa.gov

Perhaps you did not set it up properly for the Toshiba P321SL printer when you did it originally? Good luck! Chet Chin UC San Diego
