I use the Diconix 150 with ink-jet paper and get satisfactory (not letter quality, but I didn't expect that) results. I don't have any trouble getting the ink-jet paper (sold under the Hewlett Packard name; the Diconix printer is a repackaged Thinkjet) at computer stores that carry HP equipment. It is a little more expensive than typing paper--- I think about $13 for a box of 500 sheets last time I checked. I think the Diconix is a wonderful printer for a laptop, as long as you don't need letter quality output. It is quiet, portable, and reasonably fast especially in draft mode.
