Hmm.... We have one of the Toshiba external 5 1/4 inch drives for the T1000 here. It has quite a few parts on a complicated looking interface board. It is unlikely that this is a "standard" drive interface. We tried plugging a 3 1/2 inch PC type drive (NEC) into the 5 1/4 connectors and it didn't work at all.
