I just picked up a Tandy TRS80 Model 102 laptop for 50 bucks. It came with two Basic manuals, user manual, an RS232C cable and a power adapter. I have no idea how old this machine is. Were there ever any detailed technical ref. manuals for this? I am hoping to use this to control some darkroom equipment. I notice that it has a 40 pin socket labelled SYSTEM BUS on the back panel. Has anyone had any experience with accessing the pins on this thro software, albeit BASIC. From the labels in the user manual it appears that this socket is connected to the internal processor.
