[comp.sys.laptops] Info on memory card for T1000SE

xiaoyan@mv04.ecf (Yan Xiao) (09/25/90)

I called a local sales rep about memory card for T1000SE, and he gave a price
of more than $1000, which is well above my budget. However, in PC/laptop
magazine, a 2mb one only costs $329. Does anybody have more info on this
thing?

Try calling Star Peripherals in Toronto. They carry a line of memory for
the T1000se. Unfortunately, I lost their number, but they should be in the phone
book. They will not sell to individuals, but should be able give you the address
of a local retailer. Expect to pay about $800 cdn for a 2 meg board.

I have had a 2meg board for a couple of months now. They are very reliable
(no moving parts ;-)).
