[comp.sys.laptops] obtaining emacs

schatz@cs.arizona.edu (Bruce Schatz) (11/24/90)

I am trying to get a copy of an emacs, such as micro-emacs, for my
T1000SE. This would fulfill a need for a small, fast text editor,
which my Microsoft Word does not fill.
Is there a public domain FTP-able from some net site?
Or does anyone have ordering information for a commercially available one?
I would be happy to pay for a good quality (fast, reliable) implementation.
Many thanks.

You can obtain MicroEMACS eg from uwasa.fi archives by anonymous ftp
(or mail server) from directory /pc/memacs.

Get Freemacs via anonymous FTP from grape.ecs.clarkson.edu in the
directory pub/msdos/freemacs. Contact the author, Russ Nelson
