Hi: After doing some research, then I realize that there are many different brands of 3rd party 2 meg memory card for Toshiba T1000SE/XE, and all their prices are very competitive (the lowest is $269) and lifetime warranty. Brands like Apricorn, Hatten, Nictrix, etc. Some brand claims to have OK from Toshiba American, that is, their card will not void your machine's warranty. And all the brands claim that they are 100% compatibla. I would like to hear from people who have one of these 3rd party cards. I would like to know: 1. the make of your card 2. its price and place of purchase 3. any compatibility problem 4. any abnormal (meaning high) drain of battery 5. how do you use the total 2.3 meg (e.g. hard ram, virtual disk, expanded memory, disk cache using PC-Kwik, etc.) 6. any other comments Thanx for your time !
