The NEC 386 laptop that I am borrowing has a detachable LCD screen. However there are between 4 and 6 lines that appear on the screen in the bottom center to halfway up towards the center. When I wiggle the connection, the number of lines changes. I assume that this is just a bad connection somewhere. Does it sound expensive to fix? I wouldn't think so. Also, what's the best way to fix a sticking shift key? Please respond soon, as I have to decide whether to keep the machine by Friday. Thanks!! -Matt Harrington -- Matthew B.
