[comp.sys.laptops] laptop luminary

blk@mitre.org (Brian L. Kahn) (01/29/91)

An aside, of interest to some: George Morrow has been working with GO
for several years on this slate. Morrow is the developer of the
earliest successful (arguable :-) portable computer, which became the
Zenith lunchbox computer - Z-171 I think? The words entrepeneur and
visionary seem to apply to this man.

Actually "Integrated Circuit Board Designer" are the words that come
to my mind. Morrow MicroDesigns was one of the many "S100 board" companies
which abused the underspecified DMA channels.
