I have a T1000SE, without internal modem. I am thinking of making a battery pack and putting in the place of internal modem. As for a laptop, a quite big block of space is waisted. Did any body already have this setup? One way that strikes me now is to put 8 1.5V battery in the internal modem's place, wire out two lines through the telephone jack opening and link to the AC adaptors plug. But it sounds awkward, as using battery to charge battery is not a good idea. Any better idea? xiao <xiaoyan@ecf.toronto.edu>
