[comp.sys.laptops] Toshiba 386 Notebooks

Having finally got some data on the '386 Toshiba notebook US version
(T2000SX) it is apparent that there are some external differences
between this model and the Japanese version (T3100SX021) although
these differences are not apparent from the published data.

Most notably the SX021 comes in a T1000LE case with (nominal)
82-key keyboard, while the SX021 comes in a slightly bigger case,
with an 86-key keyboard.

Beyond the obvious, does anyone know whether there are any significant
differences between these machines? The SX021 will run regular DOS, but
are the video ROMs the same? The terminology VGA, EGA, CGA isn't
usually used in Japan, so the Japanese data sheet doesn't mention it, but
one wonders whether the SX021 is VGA compatible? And whether, as on
the T2000SX, there is a VGA port on it?
