[comp.sys.laptops] replacement battery for T1000

A friend has a T1000 whose battery had died. Does anyone know of a company
that will sell a replacement?

I also heard that they can be brought back to life by hooking them up
momentarily to a higher voltage. Has anyone done this to a T1000 battery?
