[net.auto] 83 Honda Prelude

Yes, I recently bought a Honda Prelude, at Open Road Honda in Edison, NJ.
I paid about $2000 over list price, after determining that this *is* the
going price. I visited every Honda dealer between New York and Phila, only
to find that the asking price did not vary more than $200. I chose Open
Road, since they were closest to my home, and had the best reputation.
(Also, when choosing a dealer, find out what they charge for rust proofing,
paint sealent package. I found this could vary from $395. to $900)

As far as the car, I LOVE IT! I had looked at many different models before
deciding on the Prelude, and after reading what Road & Track and Moter Trend
said about it, Honda's reliability record and having test drove many cars in
the Prelude's class, there was no doubt in my mind. It is well worth the
$2000 mark-up, when you compare it to cars such as the Celica, RX-7, and
VW.

I now have 2600 miles on my Prelude, and the more I get to know the car, the
more I like it. I would recommend it without hesitation.
