??286??386??1MB??5MB??20MB??60MB????286??386??1MB??5MB??20MB??60MB?? I will be buying a laptop, actually a notebook, within the next couple of months. I want to do basic word processing, probably using LetterPerfect (downscaled WordPerfect), store papers, store research info, etc. and use the laptop as a terminal. The advice I've received suggests that I should get a 386 machine with at least 4MB RAM. My question is: is this overkill? I know I want a modem and enough speed and memory to do word processing without any headaches. Since the advice I received is from UNIX folks, I think I need a second opinion! Any info/advice would be much appreciated. --S. Gore ps Right now I am looking at the Zeos 286 and 386 notebooks; any experiences--good or bad--with these? ??286??386??1MB??5MB??20MB??60MB????286??386??1MB??5MB??20MB??60MB??
