[comp.sys.laptops] EMS board for 1100FD: Was RE:asking recommendations on laptop/notebook

Does anyone know if there is a third party that makes a ram addition for the
Tandy 1100FD? I know that Tandy does not officially support one (read, sell
one), but since it is so similar to the Pansasonic CF150B (sorry if that is the
wrong model number), I thought it might be possible to plug one in to the
Tandy. I'm not an electronics kind of guy, so please excuse my reading of
schematics, but in my Service Manual for the Tandy 1100FD there is a schematic
(Sheet No. 8 of 9 on page 7-15) with a big arrow pointing off the page.
Below the arrow it says "To EMS RAM Board (Option)."

Does this mean there is hope for expanding ram, draining the battery even
more, and mortgaging everything I own? :-) Seriously, I would appreciate any
insights on this. Thanks.
