I have a Tnady 1400hd. It comes with an NEC V20 microprocessor, 8-mhz type. I'm thinking of pulling that chip and replacing it with a 10-mhz V20 chip that I have. What I'm wondering is whether it would be worth the effort performance-wise. I've read that switching the chips won't pose any risks to the system (nothing wil blow up, etc.), but would the switch up the speed of operations any? Bob M, PSU-Harrisburg
