Anyone have any direct experience with (or heard anything about) the Data NB/320SX? For $2995, you get: 80386SX-20, 6.5 lb., 8.5x11x2 inches 4MB RAM 20MB HD 1.44MB floppy VGA LCD triple-twist 640x480 2400BPS modem 2 serial, 1 parallel, external VGA and keyboard ports 3-4 hour battery DOS 4.01, FastLynx and cables, battery monitor, and smart cursor soft case There are 2 less expensive versions: $2850 without the modem, and $2650 with only 2MB of memory. Extras include: 60MB disk upgrade =< $ 600 (not yet available) Extra battery $ 95 charging stand 95 MS Windows 3.0+Xenix mouse 95 I had been thinking Zeos until I saw the Data ad. The Zeos with 5MB, modem, extra battery, case, and charging stand and DOS is $3195, so the Data costs almost exactly the same. Comparing features for the same money, the Zeos has 5MB and the Data 4MB the Zeos is SX-16 and the Data is SX-20 the Data can be upgraded with SIMMs to 8 or 16MB for $100/MB the Data has an expansion cabinet available Zeos has only one serial port, no external keyboard connector We've heard several testimonials for Zeos; any words for Data? BTW, there's a review of 386SX laptops in the May PC World; also of small trackballs.
