I own a Sharp MZ-100 with 2 720k drives, 640k memory and a double scan CGA LCD monitor (640x400x4). When I began to program in C, I noticed how cramped I was with the total of 1.44meg storage this system allowed me. I've noticed lately some parallel to SCSI adaptors, the only one that I can find right now being from ioMega. I've also seen a manufacturer with a moderately priced HD that connects to your parallel port. I was wondering if any of you have ever used one of these drives, what you think of them, if I could attach them to my 386 (when I get it, that is):, et al. In short, are they worth the price? On a slightly related note: Does anyone know of a way to internally mount a hard drive in the MZ-100's chassis? There was a 286 manufactured by Sharp that had an identical chassis, but a 40 meg HD replaced one of the drives. Can I do this/where could I get the controller card from?
