It always happens this way ... you see the messages fly by, consider them not directly relevant to you, and then some weeks later you Need To Know. I'm heading out to the Bay Area in a week or so, and have decided to take my Tosh with me and buy a modem while there so I can handle urgent email. Does anyone have a summary of the recent discussion of modems, or any recommendations? It's all expired here. If someone could suggest a possible source in the Bay Area, or some vendor who does next day delivery and good prices, that would be Just Wonderful.
