(My apologies to the net: I inadvertently posted this with the wrong Sub- ject line. Here it is again.) I just received an interesting reply from Kenneth White <uunet!unixg.ubc.ca!ken> at the University of British Columbia. He saw a 486 notebook, only 4.5 pounds, at Comdex Atlanta. I've called Notebook Computers (1-800-473-4486) and they are sending me some literature on it. It is a true 486. They're waiting for FTC appro- val and expect to go to market within a couple of months.
