The differences are the DeskMate in rom (RS), the backlit screen and the expandable memory (Panasonic). The batteries are the same as is the internal modem. /s/ Bob Gettys former CF-150B owner

Yes, it is the same battery as the Tandy 1100FD. Costs about $30 at Radio Shack.
