I'm using one right now. The CPU is a V-30, which by my PCSHELL utility runs at 340% of the original PC. Not bad, speed-wise. the screen's OK, for a CGA screen with a 1.4 aspect ratio. The screens on Toshibas are better, I think. I even use Windows 3.0 (in real mode) and like it. It is fast enough for that. Disadvantages: I have some esoteric software that doesn't seem to run right on it. It's beta stuff, so it might not be the machine's problem. Also, I can't find any extra memory, and have been told that it doesn't exist. I also can't find the damn car-battery converter. Those who used to carry it say it'd run between $80 - 100, which seems too high, anyway. (Any help you could give me on that would be great). The hard drive is not as fast as I'd like, but adequate. When I was looking, this was the cheapest psuedo-reliable brand with a backlit screen and a hard drive. There may be other options now. Write back if you have more questions. David L.
