[comp.unix.i386] Do all 386 UNIXes use VTOC partitioning?

friedl@vsi.COM (Stephen J. Friedl) (08/10/89)

Hi Folks,

Do all the main versions of 386 UNIX use the same hard drive
partitioning mechanism? AT&T's 386 offering uses a very similar
internal VTOC scheme internally as the 3B2 products, but the admin-level
commands are quite different. How about Interactive?

     Please respond via email...

     Steve
