Hi, does somebody know editors running under X11 and where to get then from? xedit which comes with ix/386 doesn't work very well. Thanks Fritz

It's wonderful - especially if what you want is an *editor* - not another whole operating system pretending to be an editor. jw

GNU emacs, compiled with X support, works pretty well if you have the memory. It works great when run remotedly from a Sun 3/60 :-). Email if you need to know where to get it, and also note that the file fns.c will not work if compiled optimized, so compile this one file unoptimized when building. jim frost software Tool & Die madd@std.com
