[comp.unix.i386] 386sx boards

Has anyone successfully run 386/ix on a sx-cpu ? I have seen some very good
offers on such motherboards, but would obviously like to hear from somebody
knowing before doing buy,try and cry. Is there any reason at all why this
should not work ?

  I tried ESIX (3.2.2) on a 386sx board. Runs but it's slow. I wouldn't
recommend it for any heavy development. Maybe good for a little file
server.
