xxx Most software companies do not sell their software. They claim that the software is licensed to one user for use on one machine. Read the licensing agreement that came with the software to determine what you are allowed to do. Of course, there is a large (possibly) illegal market for bootleg software. There are also lawyers who claim that those licensing agreements arent't worth the paper their printed on. To each his own. One side note: a recent megabucks lawsuit was recently filed by some software companies for distributing unlicensed software.
