I am interested in finding out if any one has bought any shocks which are REALLY good, was thinking about KONI. I hear they are great! Some roads are really hammered. Also, if you know of any good tires for a MEGA-RAIN climate, I would appreciate the info.

I have a set of Bilstein gas shocks and struts on a 1980 Mazda RX-7 and I have nothing but praise for them. They are not cheap but they really improved the handling. I have a friend that has a set of KYB shocks and struts on a Toyota and is pleased with them also. The KYB's are a little cheaper but aren't quite as firm as the Bilsteins. What- ever you do make sure you get Nitrogen gas-filled shocks. I heard once that KONI doesn't make a gas-filled shock so you may want to check into it. !hp-labs!pcd.dhk .
