Netlanders- I've just got 386ix up and running on a 386 with 8 meg of ram and 12 meg of swap space. Now when I run pathalias, the machine either runs out of swap space and crashes or uses almost all the swap space but churns away infinitely (13 hours till I killed it). I used to run this under xenix in 15 minutes with 4 meg ram and 6 meg swap. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any help will be apprecited. Yes, turned out to be a bug of some sort in pathalias related to some bad maps we had. Got rid of the bad maps and everything started working fine again. -- Stuart.Lynne@wimsey.bc.ca ubc-cs!van-bc!sl 604-937-7532(voice) 604-939-4768(fax)
