I cannot get the sendmail to run in daemon mode under ISC 2.02 . It runs for a second, then terminates without an error code. I restored the sendmail.cf file that I tweaked under ISC 1.0.6 after I installed it, but I don't see anything wrong with it. Has anyone else had this problem? -- James Logan UUCP: uunet!inpnms!logan Data General Telecommunications Inet: logan%inpnms@uunet.uu.net (301) 590-3069

Are you saying that I have to re-install TCP/IP after installing sendmail *even if I already installed it*? How did you figure this out? Is it documented? Did you reinstall TCP/IP just to see if it made a difference? So what does TCP/IP change? The sendmail program? The config file? Thanks for the info! -Jim -- James Logan UUCP: uunet!inpnms!logan Data General Telecommunications Inet: logan%inpnms@uunet.uu.net (301) 590-3069
