My company is looking into WORM drives. We will therefore need a SCSI host adapter. The two brands that have been mentioned by various vendors are Adaptec and Future Domain. The vendors who will sell me the WORM or the UNIX driver are also ready to sell me the host adapter. I would like to contact the companies themselves to see if I can get a better price (we are resellers), by bypassing the middleman's jackup.
