[comp.unix.i386] HELP TOKEN RING/ISC UNIX

mg32+@andrew.cmu.edu (Michael Ginsberg) (12/13/89)

Could someone please tell me where to turn/who to call/etc?

I am running a 33 mhz 386 system, and I have a token ring via which I connect
to my campus network, and the arpanet, using FTP brand software. I am going
to be purchasing Interactive Unix if I can solve one problem. I need a token
ring driver (needs to be compatible with System V 3.2) that I can use under
this unix. Other than that, I'm very happy... But I cannot go ahead and get
any unix without token ring support... If you cannot help me here but know of
any other 386 unix (besides aix) with token ring support, please tell me who.

If you know of anyone useful to call (I've tried IBM [makers of token ring],
my university [we only support dos on non-campus-workstations], Interactive
[we're working on it, but don't expect anything for about a year]).

Thanks alot...
