OS: 386/ix 2.02 Three quick questions: a) Does anyone has actually done anything with the select() call provided in libinet.a (comes with TCP/IP Package) A short prg I wrote to test it works fine - also the select testprg from comp.unix.xenix posted a while ago to show a bug in Xenix select works fine here. b) Does anyone has a PD implementation of sockets for Sys V.3 ? Of course, the sockets provided with TCP/IP 386/ix package only work with AF_INET. AF_UNIX is not implemented. Does 386/ix 2.2 supports sockets with AF_UNIX ? Or Sys V.4 ? c) I would like to establish a connection thru SL/IP and my high speed modem (9600 bps). How can I achieve that with 386/ix ? The current TCP/IP Release does not support SL/IP. (Maybe in the future ? - I want that with dialer and all the stuff :-) Please reply via mail, if enough interest - I summarize and post. -Axel -- fischer@utower.gopas.sub.org / fischer@db0tui6.BITNET / fischer@tmpmbx.UUCP Bang-Europe : ...!{doitcr,gopnbg,tmpmbx}!utower!fischer Bang-USA : ...!uunet!unido!gopnbg!utower!fischer Too low for zero ...
