I guess I should make my question a little more clear. My inquiry
about UW for the 386 pertains to the client side (NOT client as interpreted
by X). Of course this side does not require sockets (since, to my knowledge,
Macs don't have ANY ipc). Perhaps this is not the group in which to
inquire. Any suggestions? I would post to comp.sys.ibm.pc but can anyone
possibly be reading that group? The volume is astounding (as compared to
unix-pc.general or even this group). Does anyone NOT regularly 'c'atch-up?
