The owners manual for my 1984 Renault Alliance is very explicit concerning gasahol and products containing methanol. It say's don't use them. They are harmful to the engine and the fuel line, and of course, my warrenty will be void if I use them. Most gas line anti-freeze products contain methanol. My manual says I can only use these products if the methanol content is 3% or less. The products I've seen (heet, etc.) do not list the percentage of methonal they contain. Can anyone give me the name of some gas line anti-freeze products which do not contain, or which have less than 3% methanol? Thanks in advance. -- Is I is, or is I aint, John V. Smith
