[comp.unix.i386] 386ix and 386SX ?

rob@array (Rob Marchand) (02/16/90)

Does 386ix run on any machines using the 386SX CPU, or does it require
a true 386?
		Just curious....

		Cheers!

Yes, it should run on any 386 DX or SX, but it will run much slower on an
SX due to the 16bit data path.
