I just bought a new Maxtor 4380S from a dealer who got a bunch in an OEM swap. Unfortunately, mine didn't have a manual (but I couldn't resist the $1200 price). Does anyone have the info I need to install this, or a copy of the manual for this drive that they'd be willing to xerox for me (I'll pay nominal costs)? Thanks. Maxtor is generally pretty happy to send you a technical manual.
I called them when I needed info on the 4380E (ESDI) drive and
I got a manual in the mail later that week. I think they're right
in San Jose not far from you. Try them.
