I was hoping someone with a bit more knowledge or experience could answer this (problem||bug) we've found...... We have a Sun386 running DOS emulation using VP/IX. Now this works very very well. Until you try to use the modification time of a file time, as for some reason this is not updated when a file is modified as I believe it should under DOS. As an example, we compiled a touch command under a real DOS machine and the Sun. On the DOS machine, it touched the file date correctly. On the Sun, it did not. That is, the date under VP/IX on the Sun is always the creation date. Although this is not always a problem, it makes using the make utility a REAL pain. So, that's the problem. Is this a bug of VP/IX DOS? or is there an option we can select? Or should we just panic? Any replies or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
