I am in the market for a 386 unix system. I know that the options include SCO Xenix, SCO Unix, ISC 386ix, and Esix. I have an MFM drive now, but I am planning to get a SCSI drive after I have settled on a 386 unix system. (I plan to buy the hardware that is compatible with the software I will have at the time -- should I do it the other way around?) I would be grateful for any email with suggestions as to which unix to buy. I would also appreciate an indication of what the price will be, and an address/phone number from which I can order it. I will post a summary of responses if interest is sufficient. I suspect this is a frequently asked question, but I couldn't find it in the list.
