What is the performance differences between 20MHz and 25MHz 80386 boxes without memory cache. Assuming 80nS memory, will the memory slow down the 25MHz box to make it insignificant? Will adding a cache speed things up enough to make it worth the $$$$$? On a related note, does anyone have a version of Dhrystone for 80386 running under MS-DOS (32-bit) so I can try a fairly painless benchmark on the dozens of 386 clones out there? Anyone care to publish numbers? How does Dhrystone relate to Norton's SI numbers? Please reply and I will summarize. -- Dave Bullis Cognos, Inc VOICE: (613) 738-1440 3755 Riverside Dr. P.O.
